The House of Wine

The House of Wine is more than just a wine cellar or a wine shop. Andrej Kubíček had been dealing with alcohol trading before; however wine charmed him best. He decided to open The House of Wine with a unique concept. Like every house, The House of Wine also has several rooms. One of them is a classic shop, another one is a degustation room and the other rooms have been offered for rent to Slovak winemakers - the whole room for bigger wine houses, separate showcases rent can be used by smaller wine houses. An undisputable advantage of this concept is the fact that marketing tools remain in the hands of winemakers themselves. They can constantly change their assortment and adapt it to present period or demand. It can equally be applied to price policy. Winemakers define retail prices, which mostly results in the same price as the one offered directly at the winemaker´s. Broad and always up-to-date assortment has attracted not only wine lovers but also buyers from Trnava restaurants and shops. Besides sales service, directly ensured by Andrej Kubíček, winemakers can also arrange various presentations and wine tasting in comfortable and spacious premises. Basically, all significant vineyard areas are represented in the House of Wine. The most represented wines are from the vineyard area of the Little Carpathians followed by those of Nitra and Southern Slovakian areas; however also wines from Morava and a selection of foreign wines can be found. Books and magazines on wine, which visitors can read, are also a part of the House of Wine. Andrej Kubíček is not only a seller but also a lover of wine and an expert at it, and he can therefore give a knowledgeable piece of advice to an indecisive customer.
