Together with Jozef Karol Viktorín, he published the almanac “Concordia” representing a collective manifesto of Catholics and Protestants. In his theatrical works, he followed the tradition of the writer Ján Chalúpka. He is the author of three comedies: “Inkognito”, “Drotár” and “Zmierenie, alebo Dobrodružstvo pri obžinkoch”. Apart from these texts, he wrote also the tragedy based on Russian history - Dimitrij Samozvanec.
