Riddled with legends the nature monument is located on the northern territory of Dobrá Voda Valley and represents a part of limestone and dolomite massif Vrátno in Dobrá Voda Karst. The subject matter of protection embodies a unique karst phenomenon - a karst spring, which serves also scientific and research and educational purposes. The karst spring with the area of 3.47 ha and location in the cadastral area of municipality Dobrá Voda was established a nature monument in 1982. It was described for the first time only in 1925, in the magazine "Krásy Slovenska". To get to the karst spring, either the green tourist route from Dobrá Voda, or westwards from the yellow-marked Ondrej Senka's Trail leading from Brezová pod Bradlom can be chosen.
