Jozef Ignác Bajza Memorial Room
If you like novels you must know about the first Slovak novel ever written, whose author, Jozef Ignác Bajza, was born in Predmier. He spent the longest part of his life working as a Catholic priest in Dolné Dubové, where his memorial house is situated. Besides dedicating his work to his duty as a priest in Bratislava, Trnava, Dolné Dubové, Prietrž, Osuské and Zbehy he wrote a number of books. His novel René mládenca príhody a skúsenosti is considered to be his most important work. In J.I. Bajza Memorial House you will find a permanent exhibition comprising historical artifacts which were a part of Bajza’s life. Please pre-book your visit at Dolné Dubové Municipal office.
