This semi-difficult tour goes mostly along infrequent public roads. Passes across the Little Carpathians twice and goes around “fairytale”castle and two picturesque castle ruins. This easy cycle way ranks, for its total length, among the shorter ones. Because of frequent surface changes it is better to use cross or trekking bike. Start the trail at the railway station in Smolenice. Right from the beginnig pass along the Smolenice Caste and the major archeological site Molpír. Following the blue cycleway (2201) and the green one (5205) at the same time which is coming from Trstín. At the crosroad in the part Smolenická Nová Ves bear right following only the blue one towards the reacreational village Jahodník. The 5 km long gradient after Jahodník continues until the top of the pass Sedlo pod Veterlínom. Then follows nearly 5km long forest ride down a damaged road that leads to the intersection with route no. 501. Here turn right to the red marked Small Carpathian Trail (003) heading towards Plavecký Peter. After the village, which is a historic reserve of folk architecture turn right and go up for about 1 ? km towards Buková. The red cycleway continues on the left of the dem Buková - a recreational area. At the crossroad turn right towards Brezinky, from where a red marked turistic path leads to the ruins of Ostrý Kameň Castle. The next stop on the route is the village of Buková. However, if you do not want to go into the center of Buková, asbout 1 km before entering the villag, leave the red cycleway. By the cross turn left to a smaller tarmac road. It gradually changes into a dirt road that rises abruptly for about 3 km to the wind park on Vápenková Skala (Rock).Underneath the wind turbine towers you reach the village Rozbehy. In the near are the Korlátko Castle ruins accessible by bike. From Rozbehy turn right following the blue touristic path to Sokolské chaty (cottage houses). Tarmac and later paved road goes downhill pass the cottages alongside a source of drinking water. You get to the main road going from Buková to Trstín. Turn left. Again, join the Small Carpathian Red Cycle Trail (003) and after about 3 km enter into Trstín. Here, turn right and after a while you are back at the train station in Smolenice where the trip started.

Smolenice - Jahodník (6 km) – Plavecký Peter (11 km) - Buková (6 km) - Rozbehy (5 km) - Trstín (7 km) - Smolenice (3 km)
