Semi-difficult trail leads along the unfrequented public tarmac roads or the paved forest roads. Beautiful forest environment under the Little Carpathians hills Záruby and Veterlín has varied and quite rugged surface. Physically more challenging is in the area of Brezinky above Veterlín. In this section of forest with more clettering sweeps be aware and afocus on orientation. Start the trail at the church near Smolenice castle. From the church meet below the main road no. 502 turn left and follow the blue cycle way around the plant Chemolak to get into Trstín. In the village turn left at the next junction and follow the red labled Small Carpathian Cycle Trail (003). Go through a railroad crossing and a slight climb to the area called Chmrlík mill. From the next bus stop by a large quarry for about 1 km from the right hiking trail joins. Enter the centre of Buková and continue down slightly. Still in the village turn left to the yellow labled tarmac cycle way (8209) leading around some agricultural cooperatives/farms and on the left of the dam Buková. Above the ruins of Ostrý Kameň on the left soon comes an intersection of hiking trails Brezinky. Continue to the left following the blue trail that leads along with yellow cycle way. Ride up to the east along a paved forest road to a small rock chapel of the Virgin Mary. Then turn sharply to the right and leave the blue way. From the north of the slope Veterlín climb up to the highest point of the route (480 m) and then descend southwards to the area Červená Hora. At the junction of the cycle ways continue following the blue cycle way (2201) in the direction to Jahodník and Smolenice. At the recreation center Jahodník turn to the cave Driny, the only cave in the Little Carpathians open to public. From Jahodník continue downhill to the main road no. 502 Smolenice. Turning left in the direction through the village soon you come to the end of the trail at the church in the center of Smolenice.
