Alexander Lisický Winery can be found very easily. Along the road to Horné Orešany from Suchá nad Parnou direction, you will spot a church tower and rows of grape vines climbing up above the village. On the right from the church tower, you will see a separated row of grape vines with a white house under it. The vineyard and the house both belong to Alexander Lisický, whom friends call Šaňo. His viniculture is not big and Šaňo makes a quiet and modest impression, however only until he starts talking about his region, with history of which he is perfectly familiar, predominantly the history related to wine. Šaňo can equally enthusiastically talk about wine itself. In spite of the fact that his viniculture is really small, he uses all available modern elements of winemaking. He does not use an expensive cooling unit but water from his own well for cooling. He also uses small stainless tanks, etc. The wine cellar of Šaňo Lisický with a tasting room is situated in his family house. His greatest gems are stored in his archive, which is entered like mythical Narnia. When Šaňo opens one of the cabinets you expect him to take a wine bottle out. However, the cabinet reveals a staircase leading to the archive cellar, where the top wines age in bottles, demijohns and barrique wine barrels. His Blue Portugal is a multiple winner in wine grape varieties at Vino Tirnavia competition. His other varieties have also been awarded golden medals. A secret tip is to try his Cabernet Sauvignon rosé or Devín.
