Take a Look at the Offer of the Summer on the Promenade, And Choose to Your Liking

In July, the Promenade (Hlavná ulica) will start to live life to the fullest. A big cultural public experiment is getting underway. It was launched by the City Council with an aim to return life to the city street which has been a pulsing artery of the human settlements within this territory since times immemorial, and thus to take up again the ever present nostalgia for the legendary Trnava Promenade (Trnavské korzo) which has always been the place where the Trnava citizens are able to find one another.

The Summer on the Promenade starts. In the early evenings, the historical centre of the city will be taken over by music of various genres, singing, dancing and street theatre. In the first July week, you will have a chance to enjoy a musical project of Gonsofus; the Singing Jánošík from Dolná Lehota, who by playing the fujara, the Slovak folk musical instrumental, represents different parts of Slovakia; and funk, rock and jazz performed in the Little Rome, as Trnava is nicknamed, by OIT Orchestra Band from Trnava.  Children will certainly be delighted by the fairy tale About Nine Months, performed by the PIKI Theatre. Saturday, July 5, Main Street (Hlavná ulica) will be in possession of the Divosi Group, which will get the place to frolic by playing country music. The first July week will be ended on Sunday by the Street Beat ensemble, which features a rare ability to sense the mood of passers-by and, and plays music to keep in step with them.

You are cordially invited to Main Street (Hlavná ulica).
